At Soul Inspired Leadership we are proud to be implementing an exciting leadership program to better equip refugees with leadership skills to initiate, guide community projects and positively influence others to improve their quality of life.
Its a project that I believe in and happy to donate my time to.
Kakuma Refugee Camp, was established in 1992 following the influx of refugees, from Sudan, Ethiopia, and Somalia fleeing their countries. The camp has since grown to accommodate refugees from over 10 countries and it serves as a symbol of resilience where refugees and displaced individuals can seek safety, rebuild their lives and form a diverse, multicultural communit
The camp is managed by UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) in partnership with the Kenyan government and various humanitarian organizations, the population exceeding 200,000 people.
Soul Inspired Leadership, will work hand in hand with Life Foundation Aid (LFA), a non-profit organization operating in Kakuma Refugee camp, that works towards creating learning opportunities for refugees living in the camp in order to improve their well-being through high quality education, vocational skills, life skills and general training.
We are raising funds in order to get the resources needed for the implementation of a Leadership program that is designed to help refugees grow their self esteem and teach them skills from which they can better lead themselves, and others, towards a better future.
